UAE Extends Suspension On Flights From India Till June 30 To Curb Virus Spread

Dubai:

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday prolonged the suspension of passenger flights from India until June 30 to fight the unfold of the coronavirus pandemic.

The ban was initially imposed on April 25, after a surge in COVID-19 instances in India.

In an announcement posted on its web site on Sunday, Emirates, the flag provider of the UAE, stated, it has suspended passenger flights from India efficient April 24 till June 30.

“Moreover, passengers who’ve transited by means of India within the final 14 days is not going to be accepted to journey from some other level to the UAE,” it stated.

Nonetheless, “UAE nationals, holders of UAE Golden Visas and members of diplomatic missions who adjust to the revised printed COVID-19 protocols will probably be exempt for journey,” the assertion stated.
